Spokane (Wash.) International Airport is seeking a proactive director who can bring enthusiasm, team building and persuasive abilities to GEG. The director of planning and engineering provides management assistance to the airport director in overseeing this department’s functions. This position is directly responsible for planning, engineering and construction projects for Spokane’s two airports, including the oversight of construction activities from design to project close out, and the development, implementation, coordination and inspection of capital improvement projects and facility improvements. A degree in engineering or architecture is required along with the corresponding professional license; eight years of progressively responsible project management experience; five years as a professional engineer or architect. Experience with airports in a snowy climate preferred. A.A.E. accreditation preferred. Salary range $75,000-$110,000. Excellent benefit package.
