An Aerospace Company in Horseheads, NY is looking for 25+ Flight Line Mechanics to Phone interview and start as soon as possible.

Direct Placement Positions

Horseheads, NY

Perform checks of all helicopter systems including mechanical, power plant, fuel, lubrication,
hydraulic and control systems.
2. Perform track and balance of main and tail rotor blades on aircraft.
3. Determine cause of and correct mechanical malfunctions of any of the above helicopter systems.
4. Perform minor electrical system trouble shooting and component replacement.
5. Perform pre-flight operations excluding blade engagement necessary to ensure safety of flight.
6. Make ground engine run-ups without blades engaged to check functioning of aircraft.
7. Accompany pilots in aircraft to support flight test operations.
8. Perform aircraft assembly work when not performing duties of helicopter flight line mechanics.
9. Assist with compass swing.
10. Perform minor electrical system troubleshooting and component replacement. Troubleshoot minor
electrical problems to the point of ability and common sense. i.e. light bulbs, headsets, disconnected
wires or connectors and replacement of such items.
High School Diploma / GED
Airframes and Power Plants License Preferred.
1. 2 years aircraft final assembly or flight line experience (S70B helicopter experience preferred) or a current
A & P license.
2. Successfully complete a 30 workday trial period before final acceptance in this classification.
3. Have ability to successfully complete basic track and balance training.
4. Have no limitations which prevent the performance of any duties including flying.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required

H-60 Flight Line Experience, Crew Chief or Plane Captain Experience, Aircraft launch and recovery Experience, In flight troubleshooting Experience
