Experienced A&P Helicopter Mechanics are needed to assist with a Reset Program on UH-60M Helicopters for our client in Fort Campbell, KY.A Bonus Is Offered! Contact A Recruiter Today For More Details!Overview:Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft.Test engine and system operations, using testing equipment, and listen to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.Examine and inspect engine or other components for cracks, breaks, or leaks.Remove engine from aircraft or install engine, using hoist or forklift truck.Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.Service and maintain aircraft systems by performing the following tasks:Flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.Perform maintenance IAW FAA approved technical data. Research FAA technical data to locate applicable data relevant to assigned tasks. Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Requirements:4+ years of experience as an Aviation Helicopter A&P Mechanic is required.UH-60M Helicopter experience is required.Blackhawk experience (within the last 5 years) is a plus, but not required.Must be able to document maintenance performed on required forms.Must have knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.Must have knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings.High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Must possess a valid clear drivers license.
