PartsLogistics Announces Seamless Interface with PENTAGON 2000

Fargo, ND - 2005-03-22 -- PartsLogistics announced today that their interface to Pentagon 2000 is complete and available to all PartsLogistics and Pentagon 2000 customers. The PartsLogistic interface provides a fully-automated, seamless connection to PENTAGON 2000SQL users for internet-based access to PartsLogistics' parts locater services. For PENTAGON 2000SQL users, access to PartsLogistics is easier than ever, continuing PENTAGON's tradition of maximizing user productivity by providing a computing environment that enhances workflow.

PartsLogistics and PENTAGON 2000 created the state-of-the-art interface to employ multi-threading technology for background management of send, receive and processing of queries and replies. When the PENTAGON 2000SQL user sends a query to PartsLogistics, the system sends the request to a separate internal process that is automatically managed and balanced to other system resource requirements while allowing the user to continue working on other tasks. The PartsLogistics reply is shortly received and the user is notified and can take the appropriate action.
